Ever had a PDF file and you just wanted to have all the images used in that PDF file? Well, I've had that a couple of times before, but extracting them one by one was a heap of work I can tell you.

Because I'm lazy by nature, I thought to myself, there should be an easier way to do this. Searching the internet a bit I've found out that Adobe Acrobat Pro (in my case right now version X) can do the trick by default. The only thing it's a little bit hidden.

But with my help it will no longer be hidden for you.

Step one, open Adobe Acrobat (X)

Acrobat01

Go to Tools and click on the button. A pane will open and click on the small icon in the right upper corner of the pane (check red arrow). After that, click on Document Processing (second red arrow).

Acrobat02

Now click on the final button called Export All Images.

Acrobat03

From here on you should be able to figure out your sel how you would like to export your images. I've just helped you to find the functionality.

Happy exporting!
