Adobe LogoCreative Suite 3 / OS X 10.6.3 crashes

After my upgrade to OS X 10.6.3 almost all of my Adobe's Creative Suite 3 applications crash immediately after launching them. As always I tried to do the obvious things such as rebuilding system preferences, throw away the applications preferences etc. But still no luck. Then I activated a new user, but even in the new useraccount my apps still crash.

Then I started to Google and found the problem. Systems, like my MacBook Pro, that have a new motherboard or have been refurbished and receive a new hardware serialnumber of more than 12 chars or a serialnumer like System Serial# will cause the apps to crash. Now I have to wait if there is going to be a bugfix somewhere or have to ask my Apple Service Provider to fix this. Until then I can't use the apps I need on a daily basis anymore

Hmmm, love the way updates can mess things up...

Update: Seems my sericeprovider "forgot" to fill in (flash) the new serialnumer for my motherboard after the replacement. I used Apple's Blank Board Serializer to solve this problem. All seems to work fine now.
